Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2190 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:

To receive the travel rate, the clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Required Credentials: - Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. - Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations. - Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of 80%, 2 attempts allowed. - Ascension Cerner Test-Out required during onboarding; training checklist with signed attestation required. - Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score, 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests: - Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles; candidates must have at least 6 months of employment separation to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details: - Medical/surgical neurovascular/renal unit. - No drip titrations. - Lab collects blood specimens. - RNs start IVs; IV team available for additional support. - No EKG performance or sheath discontinuation responsibilities. - Telemetry with remote monitoring.

Floating Requirements: - May float between 3 hospitals and 1 rehabilitation hospital.

5 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required
