Software Engineer in Test

In this role, you’ll build and maintain tooling that automates integration and acceptance testing activities across complex vehicle systems. Your work will play a critical role in validating software quality, identifying regressions, improving test coverage, and supporting functional and safety sign-off processes. You’ll collaborate closely with development and validation teams to improve testing efficiency and system reliability across both simulated and on-vehicle environments. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and experienced developing automated test frameworks within complex, safety-critical systems. As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you'll: Develop and maintain tooling, frameworks, and automated scripts supporting integration and acceptance testing activities. Investigate issues introduced by recent code changes and support daily integration and acceptance test sign-off activities. Monitor, analyze, and automate reporting for offline testing environments, including HIL systems, CI test runs, and on-vehicle logs. Develop tools and workflows for vehicle log analysis, failure tracing, root cause investigation, and test data analysis. Identify software regressions, support defect triage activities, and collaborate with development teams on corrective actions and improvements. Contribute to testing methodologies, validation strategies, and automation improvements supporting functional and safety validation efforts. Partner cross-functionally with software, systems, and validation teams to improve release quality and operational reliability. #J-18808-Ljbffr
