As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol public spaces, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and work collaboratively with the Allied Universal team while demonstrating agility, reliability, innovation, care, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a public outdoor cultural location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout grounds, walkways, entrances, gathering areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor visitor activity, support orderly use of public spaces, and provide directions or assistance while maintaining a professional and approachable presence.
• Respond to incidents, medical situations, weather-related concerns, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations as required.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
