About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical AM Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in Medical-Surgical/telemetry/PCU. License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC EMR/charting experience. - At least 1 year of travel nursing experience. - 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years. - Experience with patient ratios of 1:4-6. Description: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical-Surgical, telemetry, or progressive care units. Candidates must have EPIC EMR/charting experience and at least 1 year of travel nursing experience. A minimum of 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or an equivalent setting within the last 5 years is required. Experience with patient care ratios of 1:4-6 is necessary. The RN will be assigned to a unit that best fits their experience as applicable. The position is for 36 hours per week, covering three 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend work is expected, along with the potential to float to other equivalent units as needed. Typical patient ratios are 1:5-6. Experience with the following populations is preferred: Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Client.
