Contract Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift) - Denton, TX | Local and Travelers accepted

Protouch Staffing is actively hiring Respiratory Therapists for a 6-month contract at our client's location - Denton, TX . This is a great opportunity to make a real difference while earning weekly pay at $52.50(local) & up to $57 (traveler)! Completion Bonus

Shifts: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, some weekends required
Contract Length: 6 months

Position Summary

As a Respiratory Therapist , you'll play a key role in the care and wellbeing of residents with intellectual disabilities and complex medical needs. You'll work under the guidance of the Medical Director, delivering essential respiratory services and collaborating with medical teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pulmonary function tests and analyze results

• Create and implement effective respiratory treatment plans

• Administer treatments using various respiratory equipment and techniques

• Monitor and evaluate treatment progress

• Educate individuals on respiratory health and preventive care

• Maintain accurate records and complete documentation as required

• Ensure compliance with HHSC and facility policies and regulations

Equipment You'll Use Includes:

• Oxygen concentrators, CPAP/BIPAP machines, ventilators (Trilogy, Hamilton C-1)

• AEDs, nebulizers, suction machines, pulse oximeters

• The Vest, MetaNeb, Ambu-bags, electrocardiogram machines

• Shiley tracheostomy tubes, and more

Requirements

• Current certification or registration as a Respiratory Therapist by the Texas Medical Board

• Minimum 2 years of experience in respiratory care

• CPR certification AHA required

• Must pass drug screening, criminal background, fingerprint checks

• Immunization requirements - MMR, Varicella, Hep B, TDAP

• TB Skin Test or Chest Xray
