Role description:

Arcadis seeks an engineering Senior Roadway CAD Designer to join our Florida Transportation team based in Tampa, FL.

In this position, you will utilize your wealth of experience with very detailed 3D modelling for DOT projects in the Southeast. Work on a wide variety of urban and rural projects from concept development, schematic development through final roadway plans.

Role accountabilities:

• Develop roadway plans utilizing Microstation, Geopak and OpenRoads according to FDOT guidelines and standards.
• Perform transportation design and traffic engineering work relating to roadway design. Includes plan preparation, drafting, and quantity calculations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Geopak, Microstation, Corridor Modeling, OpenRoads, and 3-D design.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:

• 10 or more years of relevant work experience
• Associates Degree or equivalent years (15+) of work experience in appropriate area of design
• Proficient with CAD, particularly Microstation, Geopak and OpenRoads;
• Strong Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) skills.
• Familiarity with FDOT design standards, specifications and policies.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $126592 - $161405. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
