The Dental Hygienist will work primarily in a solo practice environment, reporting directly to the Dentist. This role involves comprehensive patient care, including assessment, cleaning, and education, while maintaining accurate patient records in Curve patient management software. The ideal candidate will have completed an associate or bachelor's program and has passed the NBDHE. They are dedicated to promoting oral health and work closely with patients to support their dental hygiene needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient oral health and identify hygiene needs
• Perform professional teeth cleaning and scaling
• Conduct dental radiography as needed (XDR software)
• Provide oral health education and preventive care advice
• Administer periodontal therapy (SRP) when required
• Maintain accurate patient records with patient management software
• Consult with patients to address concerns and treatment plans
• Maintain a clean and sterile working environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school
• Passed national and regional board examinations and have a current Utah license
• Completed Anesthesia license (WREB)
• Maintain a current BLS or CPR certification. PALS recommended.
• Entry-level experience in dental hygiene
• Strong patient advocacy skills
• Professional appearance
• Second language a plus!
