NOW HIRING EXPERIENCED HDD OPERATORS – EAST / SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN  

ATR Services LLC is looking for experienced  Horizontal Directional Drill Operators for long-term underground utility and fiber work throughout East and Southeast Michigan.

  MULTIPLE YEARS OF WORK AVAILABLE — WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT A LONG-TERM HOME.

  PAY: $30–$40/HR BASED ON EXPERIENCE & ABILITY

✅  Don't have a CDL? ATR is willing to help qualified employees obtain their CDL with a 3-year employment agreement.

REQUIREMENTS

•  Minimum 2 years HDD operating experience
• Must be able to independently operate an HDD drill and maintain production
• Experience with  Vermeer 20x22, 24x40 or similar equipment preferred
• Must understand drilling, reaming, pulling and proper mud/fluid management
• Must be able to read prints and understand utility markings
• Must understand safe drilling practices around gas, electric, water, sewer and communications
• Must perform basic daily inspections and maintenance
• Must be dependable and work well as part of a professional crew
• Valid driver's license required
•  CDL preferred — assistance available for qualified employees willing to enter a 3-year employment agreement

This is NOT an entry-level position.

We are looking for experienced operators who understand HDD construction, can safely produce footage, take responsibility for their work and want a company where they can build a long-term career.

  If you're a strong operator who can produce, we're willing to pay for experience.
