Description

Follow all department and or company policies and procedures

Support and treat all fellow associates, hotel leadership and hotel guests with respect

Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) guidelines are constantly being practiced

Stand for long periods of time which could include an entire shift

Ability to safely and frequently lift, carry push or pull items up to 50 pounds

Ensure proper personal hygiene at all times to include but not limited to; grooming, bathing, trimmed and neat nails, proper and frequent hand washing at all appropriate times (i.e. restrooms, smoking, touching of body parts, task changes etc)

Follow proper local area and corporate sanitation procedures in regards to area and or kitchen cleanliness at all times including "clean as you go".

All food safety procedures and guidelines are retained and strictly followed at all times

Report maintenance issues as they arise to culinary leadership

Qualifications

Strong and accurate knife skills

Enhanced sanitation knowledge

Enhanced culinary cooking fundamentals

Basic mathematics (recipe conversion, portion control)

Well organized

Detail orientated

Ability to work at a consistent fast pace

Strong core values

Dependable and punctual Well rounded culinary knowledge Ability to work rapidly and accurately in multiple areas 3+ years culinary production experience Basic Communication skills
