About the Position We are looking for a Residential Care Associate I to join our team at our Beckett Center in Medford, Oregon! The Residential Care Associate I will provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients. They will provide personal care services and support that helps individuals develop appropriate daily living skills and independent activities of daily living to increase or maintain their level of functioning. The Residential Care Associate I will assist with meal preparation, clean-up, and food purchasing, while encouraging client participation. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, they will pass medications and perform delegated medical care as prescribed by the client’s primary care provider. They will transport clients to and from the program as necessary to engage and provide treatment services. They will maintain compliance with established productivity standards for documentation of services. Thispositionfalls under theAFSCMEbargaining unit. Wages, benefits, and working conditions aresetin accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Training Program With our MHACBO-accredited training program, you will earn CEUs towards applicable mental health certifications, while attending your required, paid training, and receiving qualified clinical supervision gaining on-the-job experience. Technology Requirement Employees are required to maintain access to a compatible smartphone capable of supporting the organization’s approved multi-factor authentication (MFA) application as a condition of employment. This requirement enables secure access to company systems. Work Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm (Full Time Swing) What You’ll Make $21.42 - $22.07 per hour DOE/Credentials. Differentials: In addition to your base wage, CCS offers the following pay differentials, subject to position, program, and eligibility requirements: Night Shift (NOC) Differential : An additional $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 10:00 PM and 8:30 AM , provided that at least 2.5 hours of your shift occur within this designated period. Secure Program Differential : An additional $2.00 per hour for all hours worked in an eligible CCS secure program. Bilingual Differential : An additional 5% pay differential for employees who meet the qualifications of the CCS Language/Bilingual Program. About the Program The Beckett Center is a 14-bed, licensed crisis residential facility serving adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The program offers private rooms, including ADA-accessible bedrooms and baths, multiple community areas, a large kitchen, and secured outdoor space to enjoy. The Beckett Center is sponsored in part by Jackson Care Connect, AllCare Health, and Jackson County Mental Health--and serves members of both Coordinated Care Organizations, as well as under or uninsured citizens of Jackson County—by referral only. Approved referral sources include hospitals, behavioral health providers, integrated health clinics, the JCMH Crisis/ACT team, and JCC SUD providers (with a behavioral health component). Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must provide a valid driver's license from their state of residence or obtain and submit one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record,and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check. Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds . It may require the ability to occasionally use ladders, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable. In addition, you must successfully complete crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques and may require an individual to lift and transfer clients.
