Work Location & Hours Work location: 3142 Horizon Road, Rockwall, TX 75032. Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Travel: 25% to surrounding clinics (mileage reimbursement provided). Key Responsibilities Deliver care to patients utilizing the Appointment Scheduling Specialist Process. Schedule all inpatient and outpatient surgeries and medical procedures, tests, and studies by the physician. Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments; conduct pre‑certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care. Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments. Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests; collect fees such as co‑pays/co‑insurance. Gather insurance information and patient personal data. Demonstrate positive professional customer service in all patient, staff, and visitor contacts; perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (required). 2 years related experience in Medical Provider Clinic (strongly preferred). 2 years related experience in Healthcare environment (preferred). Front office experience checking patients in/out. Experience verifying insurance, creating patient estimates, and confirming appointments. Strong customer service skills. Good communication skills. Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism. Team player able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Benefits 401k. PTO. Medical & dental coverage.
