Central Expressway, Suite 130, Dallas, TX 75231Position SummaryThe Staff Accountant supports the organization’s accounting operations by assisting with general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting processes. This role is responsible for preparing journal entries, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end close activities.This position works closely with accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger & Financial ReportingPrepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAPPerform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, etc.)Support month-end and year-end close processesAssist with preparation of financial statements and internal reportingMaintain accurate supporting documentation for all transactionsSupport payroll-related journal entriesAssist with variance analysis and financial review supportAccounts PayableManage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice receipt, coding, and entryPerform 3-way matching (invoice, PO, receiving documentation)Route invoices for approval in accordance with internal controlsProcess vendor payments (ACH, wires, checks) accurately and timelyMaintain vendor records, including onboarding and W-9 complianceCommunicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and payment inquiriesMonitor AP aging and assist with cash flow planningSupport year-end 1099 reportingFinancial Operations & ComplianceMonitor daily cash activity and assist with cash balancingSupport internal and external audit requestsEnsure compliance with accounting policies and internal controlsIdentify and assist with process improvements and efficienciesCollaboration & SupportPartner with internal departments to ensure accurate financial dataAssist with special projects and other accounting-related dutiesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2–4 years of accounting experience, including exposure to accounts payableStrong understanding of GAAP and general ledger processesPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting month-end closeExperience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systemsHealthcare or physician practice accounting experienceCore CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProfessional communication and vendor relationship managementHigh level of confidentiality and integrity #J-18808-Ljbffr Urology-Clinics-of-North-Texas
