Job Summary

ISP Millwork is seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The

ideal candidate will have experience driving throughout New York City, Long Island and the

five boroughs, with a strong understanding of safe freight handling, route efficiency, and

professional customer interaction.

This role is critical to supporting our manufacturing and field operations by ensuring

materials, equipment, and deliveries arrive safely, accurately, and on schedule. Early start

times and flexible daily hours may be required based on delivery schedules and project

demands.

CDL Class B license preferred , but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks and vehicles throughout NYC, Long Island and the

five boroughs

• Execute daily delivery routes efficiently while maintaining professionalism at

customer sites and job locations

• Load, unload, secure, and transport materials safely and accurately

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or

safety concerns

• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and required documentation

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, project managers,

and customers regarding schedules, delays, or field issues

• Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws

• Assist with warehouse operations and material handling when needed

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and equipment

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• CDL Class B license preferred

• Previous truck driving and delivery experience required, preferably within NYC and

the five boroughs

• Knowledge of NYC routes, traffic patterns, and delivery procedures

• Forklift experience preferred

• Strong understanding of freight handling and cargo securement practices

• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely

• Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently

• Strong communication and time-management skills

• Ability to work flexible hours and early morning start times as needed
