Workday Functional Consultant - Core HR

Empiric is supporting a major enterprise client in Berlin with the hiring of an experienced Workday Functional Consultant for a 12-month Core HR programme. The role will focus on supporting the implementation, configuration, optimisation, and enhancement of Workday Core HCM / Core HR, working closely with HR stakeholders, project teams, and technical consultants. Key Responsibilities Configure and optimise Workday Core HR / Core HCM solutions Gather and analyse business requirements from HR stakeholders Support business process configuration, security, and organisational structures Run workshops, solution design sessions, and process mapping activities Support testing, UAT, defect resolution, data migration, and go-live Create functional documentation, configuration workbooks, and training materials Support post-go-live enhancements and continuous improvement Required Skills Proven experience as a Workday Functional Consultant Strong hands‑on experience with Workday Core HR / Core HCM Experience with business process configuration, security, and organisational structures Strong understanding of employee lifecycle and HR operations Experience on Workday implementation or enhancement projects Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills Nice to Have Exposure to Absence, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, or Payroll integrations Enterprise‑scale or international Workday programme experience Workday certification Rate Day rate + Starter Bonus + Free Lunch Club experience Location Berlin, Germany Work Mode Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite per week #J-18808-Ljbffr Empiric
