We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Physical Therapist to join our team in the outpatient setting. This position offers a chance to work in a diverse and dynamic healthcare environment, providing services to patients with a variety of conditions and therapeutic needs. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy, functional training, ADL retraining, gait training, patient & family education, home exercise program (HEP) design, and equipment recommendation & fitting. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine their physical condition, limitations, medical history, and personal goals. Design individualized treatment plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy, and functional training. Provide ADL retraining and gait training to help patients regain or improve their physical abilities. Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans, fostering a collaborative relationship to enhance patient care. Develop and implement home exercise programs (HEP) that are safe, effective, and tailored to each patient's unique needs and capabilities. Recommend and fit necessary therapeutic equipment, ensuring patient comfort and functionality. Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the latest advancements in physical therapy, incorporating new techniques and technologies into patient treatment as appropriate. Qualifications: A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist or eligibility to obtain licensure. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient setting. Proficiency in therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy, functional training, ADL retraining, gait training, patient & family education, home exercise program (HEP) design, and equipment recommendation & fitting. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner. Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans to meet the changing needs of patients. A compassionate and patient‑centered approach, with a commitment to providing the highest level of care to every patient. The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of patients effectively.
