Bartender Position at Corner House RestaurantCorner House Restaurant, located in Summerville, SC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Bartender. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Key Responsibilities of the Bartender:Stock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory recordsMaintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products and communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are neededEnsure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by managementCommunicate guest requests and concerns to the Department ManagerPerform opening and closing duties which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restockingAccountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale systemReview banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special eventsServe catered parties from service or portable barsOccasionally serve meals to guestsIncorporate safe work practices in job performancePerform other duties as requiredMinimum Qualifications for the Bartender:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of bartending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceMust be at least 21 years of age to meet state age requirements to serve alcoholOther Qualifications:Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varietiesAlcohol Awareness TrainingBenefits & Other Compensation: This position includes eligibility for the following benefits, subject to applicable plan terms:Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageRetirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older)Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the Company's discretion.About TroonFounded in 1990 and headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ, Troon is the world's largest professional club management company, that specializes in services in golf, hospitality, and residential communities.
