Speech Therapist - Home Health

Role: Home Health Speech Therapist Responsibilities: Evaluate, develop, and review speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing treatments in patients' homes or facilities. Administer diagnostic tests, monitor patient progress, and document care plans and reports. Provide patient, family, and staff instruction, including alternative communication methods. Participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and internal training, ensuring confidentiality and professional conduct. Qualifications & Skills Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology (ASHA) Minimum six months of relevant experience; home health experience preferred Current, unrestricted license and CPR certification Strong organizational and communication skills Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Key Duties: Provide personalized care to enhance patient recovery and independence, utilizing professional judgment and teamwork.
