As a Systems Engineer, Senior member of the SEIT Interfaces team, you will:Work as liaison between a diverse array of teams from several technical disciplines both within and outside of Lockheed MartinFacilitate and coordinate technical discussions regarding translation of the system requirements and architecture into a set of agreements on critical design parameters for each party to meet in order to fulfill customer needsEvaluate, communicate, document, and maintain the agreed upon design solution between teamsFocus on the physical interfaces (mechanical fit, compatibility, and dynamic interoperability of physical systems) between systems and subsystems in a highly complex system-of- systems environmentWork both independently and as part of an integrated team to execute detailed action plans to accomplish major efforts involving multiple teamsThe successful Candidate will:Meet each of the Basic QualificationsHave 3+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's (related Internships/Coops may be considered)Hold an Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret ClearanceHave the ability to work On-Site at our Littleton, CO campus Full-TimeThe information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.Experience with 3D parametric computer aided design (CAD) modeling software; Creo and/or similarExperience working with various engineering disciplines (i.e. mechanical, electrical, safety, test, etc.) to develop System Engineering ProductsMust have a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship requiredDesired SkillsDemonstrated ability to learnKnowledge in Systems Engineering concepts and processesDemonstrated ability to work within and coordinate multi-disciplinary teamsExperience with design, integration and/or test of mechanical systemsExperience with PTC Creo (and/or AutoCAD programs) to create physical interface models and drawingsAbility to create and manage Interface Control DocumentationExcellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent social skills, and ability to create consensus among peers while forming relationships with team membersKnowledge of InterfacesKnowledge of DOORSKnowledge of CAMEOKnowledge of RequirementsKnowledge of MBSEExperience in systems engineering, preferably in a defense or aerospace environmentExperience with coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR)Strong understanding of systems engineering principlesAbility to articulate detailed technical and programmatic issues to subordinates, peers, management and customersActive Top Secret clearancePay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
