Applications DeveloperThis posting is for an Applications Developer to assist the Executive Office for Administration and Finance IT (A&F IT) in its support of the Commonwealth's Operational Services Division (OSD).Primary Responsibilities:Serving on the A&F IT/OSD technical team and being involved with the database and application design and development via using.NET Core, C#, MVC, JSON, and jQuery.Enhancing the CUG (Contract User Guide) and SWC (Statewide Contract) index application.Validating data from multiple sources for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.Identifying and documenting data issues and collaborating with business stakeholders to resolve them.Testing the application to ensure compliance with accessibility requirements.Documenting end-to-end processes and data flows.Following established business, technical and project policies and guidelines aligned with EOTSS principles and standards to include the following: use of best practices, meeting management, project plans, status reports and dashboards, risk and issue tracking, change requests and resource management.Qualifications:Minimum 5 years' experience with ASP.NET,.NET Core, C#, MVC, JSON, and jQuery.Minimum 5 years' experience with Microsoft SQL Server.Must possess expert programming and troubleshooting skills.Must possess expert performance tuning skills and dynamic SQL skills.Must be willing to jump into other's code at any time to solve the problem.Experience and understanding with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol.Ability to communicate with technical and business resources at many levels in a manner that supports progress and success.Ability to understand, appreciate and adapt to new business cultures and ways of working.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
