Quality Control Manager

Zachary Piper is hiring for a traveling Quality Manager to enforce quality control on USACE projects in the Southern & Eastern Region of United States . Each project will have stints of 1-2 years durations and will have project backlog to manage for at least 6 years.

Responsibilities

• Chair and document weekly QC coordination meetings with subcontractors and attend all progress meetings with the USACE Resident Engineer or administrative team
• Update and maintain the RMSto log daily QC reports, track submittals, manage deficiencies, and upload test results
• Implement and document the mandatory USACE Three-Phase Control process (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up phases) for every definable feature of work
• Identify, document, and track construction defects using a rework log, ensuring prompt corrective action and closure
• Review, approve, and track all shop drawings, material samples, and technical data sheets before they are submitted to the government or used on-site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 5+ years of experience with quality control management on projects
• Experience with USACE projects
• USACE CQM or CQC-M certification
• Must be able to pass a government background check

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: 100k-130k + Per Diem (lodging, meals, car, and expenses provided)
