Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Rotating Shifts (2x8 & 2x12) | 7:00–15:30 / 7:00–19:30 | Expected 40 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-acuity Shock Trauma Operating Room environment across 9 rooms
• Perform both circulating and scrub roles — experience in both is required for this position
• Float within the specialty and peri-operatively, including pre-op and PACU coverage as needed
• Fulfill weekend requirements of at least one weekend per month, which may include on-call shifts
• Fulfill holiday assignments as scheduled
• Maintain approximately 36 hours of pre-scheduled on-call coverage per 6-week schedule cycle

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact license at time of submission
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience; strong first-time travelers may be considered
• Both circulating and scrub experience are required — this is a hard requirement for this position
• Must maintain permanent address 50 or more miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Experience in a trauma or high-acuity surgical environment
• Comfort with floating within scope and across perioperative settings with no restrictions
