About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation Unit Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med-Surg Adult, Telemetry Med/Surg, Observation Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights including Weekend Rotation Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 3 Years in Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or Similar RN Experience License: Current RN License in Colorado Certifications: Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association. Current ACLS issued by the American Heart Association. Must-Have: Flu Vaccination (mandatory) Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients. The nurse will use their specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care. The nursing process will be utilized in their practice. Candidates must have experience in Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or a similar environment. Candidates must be available to participate in call rotation and take on-call shifts as needed. Immediate needs will arise due to increased patient census and various medical procedures.
