HVAC Technician

HVAC TechnicianWe are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our property management team. As an HVAC Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across our properties. The successful candidate will bring expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC systems, ensuring the comfort, safety, and energy efficiency of our managed properties.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal functionality.Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues, providing timely and effective solutions.Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and recommend preventative measures.Execute repairs on HVAC systems, including replacement of defective components and parts.Install new HVAC units or upgrade existing systems, adhering to industry standards and safety regulations.Respond promptly to emergency HVAC service calls, addressing urgent issues and minimizing downtime.Provide after-hours support for HVAC emergencies as needed.Maintain accurate records of HVAC service activities, including repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.Generate detailed reports on system performance, identifying trends and recommending improvements.Communicate effectively with property management teams and residents regarding HVAC issues and solutions.Provide guidance and recommendations on energy-efficient HVAC practices.Critical Success FactorsPassion for the company's missionRelationships- provides service with a smile, understands resident satisfaction. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Self-starter- positive, optimist and willing to take initiative.Very organized – quality and detail orientedGoal oriented – naturally motivated to reach goals.Physical requirements- able to lift up to 50 lb. constantly.Education, Training and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC technical training or apprenticeship program.Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in property management or related industry.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and controls.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various HVAC equipment and systems.Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.Relevant HVAC certifications and licenses as required by local regulations.HVAC Contractor's License is desired.Basic knowledge in MS Office and outlook.Valid Driver's License is required to complete the essential function of the position (completing off hours emergency maintenance requests, obtaining/transporting supplies, etc.).Join our property management team and contribute to the optimal functioning of HVAC systems, ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our residents.
