Must-Have:

• Proficient in acute care imaging, including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and OR.
• Skilled in bedside/portable X-ray, trauma imaging, C-arm procedures, and fluoroscopic studies such as barium swallow/esophagram.
• Ability to perform all aspects of X-ray independently.
• Competence in adapting to equipment-specific training as needed.
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma and children's hospital, especially for candidates with 1 year of experience.

Description:

Position for X-Ray Technician requires working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Full-time experience at a Level 1 trauma and children's hospital is necessary for those with less than 2 years. No weekend requirement is stated, and there is no on-call requirement. Requests for time off, scheduling, or block scheduling must be included during the submission process. The facility reserves the right to call off one shift every two weeks. First-time travelers are not accepted, but local candidates may apply within the defined radius. Pending licenses are not accepted; candidates must have an active license upon submission. Floating may be required based on the facility policy, but only to units qualified for. Epic charting system experience is required. The candidate will be expected to provide various imaging services competently across different care settings, which include assisting in acute care emergencies. Demonstrated ability to adapt and utilize new technologies and radiographic procedures is essential. Understanding of health and safety protocols in radiologic practices is imperative.
