Lead Teller

Position Overview Lead Teller – PNC Retail Branch, Carrollwood Branch, Tampa, FL (12951 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33618). This in‑office role focuses on coaching, mentoring, and guiding tellers to deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive banking opportunities while ensuring accurate, efficient teller operations. Responsibilities Coach, mentor, and lead tellers by example—exemplifying customer‑centric service. Process a variety of customer interactions and educate customers on available banking alternatives and financial options. Identify and recommend banking opportunities during customer conversations, referring as appropriate to branch staff. Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and promote PNC products. Communicate clearly, handle transactions accurately, and resolve problems using established procedures. Assist the Branch Manager with performance management and new‑hire selection processes. Adhere to all policies and procedures, exercising sound judgment within established limits. Ensure teller and branch daily operations, including maintenance transactions, are completed efficiently and accurately. Qualifications Minimum of 1+ year related experience in banking or a similar customer‑service environment; leadership or management experience preferred. Strong customer focus and ability to coach and mentor others. Knowledge of banking products and the ability to identify opportunities within customer interactions. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and technology‑savvy skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in transaction handling. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate within a team. Willingness to work in an office environment at the Carrollwood branch in Tampa, FL.
