Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystOur client in Spokane, WA is currently hiring for a Financial Analyst. This position is a fully onsite opportunity supporting a growing manufacturing and operations-focused finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial reporting, accounting fundamentals, data analysis, and advanced Excel functions.Pay - $54,080 - $68,640/year (Depending on experience, education, technical skills, and relevant experience)Location - Spokane, WA (100% Onsite)Schedule - Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMResponsibilities• Maintain current pricing and quote information within company systems• Compare quoted pricing and gross margins against actual financial results• Prepare and analyze reports related to gross margin, inventory, accounts receivable, and other key financial metrics• Partner with Program Management, Procurement, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to resolve pricing and cost variances• Analyze product costs, supplier pricing variances, manufacturing overhead, and work-order reporting• Assist with customer quotations, pricing updates, and transfer-pricing accuracy• Perform general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities• Create standard and ad hoc financial reports to support operational and business decisions• Utilize Excel and data analysis tools to identify trends and communicate actionable insights• Support factory planning initiatives, operational efficiencies, and continuous process improvement effortsQualification Requirements• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or a related field• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data manipulation, and report creation• Experience performing financial analysis and financial reporting• Basic understanding of general ledger accounting and financial statements• Experience identifying discrepancies, analyzing data, and communicating findings• Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills• Effective written and verbal communication skills• Experience working with SQL or querying data is preferred• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with multiple business unitsDisqualifiers• Lack of Excel reporting experience, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs• No understanding of financial reporting or accounting fundamentals• No experience analyzing financial or operational data• Unable to work onsite in Spokane, WAEmployee Value Proposition• Large publicly traded company with the access and visibility of a smaller organization• High exposure to executive leadership, including operational and finance leaders• Opportunity to gain experience across multiple areas of the business rather than a single finance function• Supportive leadership focused on training, professional development, and long-term growth• Exposure to operations, supply chain, manufacturing finance, pricing, quoting, and process improvement initiatives• Collaborative environment where employees are encouraged to ask questions and contribute ideas• Strong career advancement opportunities within the organization• Onsite fitness facility available to employeesWork Environment• Fully onsite position in Spokane, WA• Standard business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with regular interaction across operations, supply chain, procurement, and finance teams• Team-oriented culture that promotes learning, collaboration, and professional development
