Assembler Packer I - Asheville Reports to: Production Supervisor - Military Markets Supervises: N/A Summary Statement: Under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor for MM, the employee in this position prepares products for shipment. Essential Job Functions Place bar-coded items in bags in a neat, organized manner. Notify the supervisor or PA of any problems/concerns regarding item begin packaged and when additional items are needed. Place bar code sticker on bag in proper location. Marginal Job Functions Assist other personnel as time and knowledge permit. Participate in training and meetings as requested. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Working Conditions Must be able to sit over a 10-hour period. Must be able to reach and pick up various size items. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees. Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures. Education and Work Experience Training is provided on the job.
