GSATi is a forward-thinking and global-oriented tech company looking to hire an intern with strong knowledge and interest in the digital media landscape, including various social media networks. We are looking for a student with a strong passion for marketing, as well as a keen eye for content and design. Additionally, as a social media intern, applicants should have strong communication skills, both online and offline.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute on social media for GSATi's social media accounts, as well as managing clients' accounts
• Posting on GSATi's social media accounts to recognize employees (such as birthdays and anniversaries), promote company events and milestones, related industry news, etc.
• Participate in meetings with clients
• Implement social media strategies and campaigns for clients
• Optimize social media campaigns based on meetings with clients to gain an understanding of target audiences as well as finding which networks are suitable for different clients and their audiences
• Keyword analysis – search engine optimization and its relation to social media, websites, and content
• Cost/benefit analysis – work with reporting and analysis tools such as Google Analytics to report social return on investment (SROI) to clients
• Strong processes – working with tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer to streamline social media efforts
• Understand and follow updates/news for major social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

• 1 Year in digital marketing or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of work history.
• 1 - 2 Years of Education in Marketing a plus.

Methodology:

• Proficiency in using computers.
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent a plus.
