A shipping clerk is responsible for:
- Overseeing materials and products
- Managing the shipment of both materials and products to customers
- Keeping track of shipments and maintaining organized databases
- Providing reports and delegating tasks and shipments
- Preparing and processing orders for shipment
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Coordinating with carriers for pickups and deliveries
- Packaging items securely and ensuring accurate and complete shipping documentation
