Job Description - Infection Preventionist 1 (260001TB) Description An Infection Preventionist 1 is responsible for implementing and monitoring infection control programs in various healthcare settings. They work closely with healthcare professionals to prevent and control the spread of infections among patients, staff, and visitors. This role involves conducting risk assessments, developing policies and procedures, educating staff on infection prevention practices, and monitoring compliance with infection control protocols. Infection Preventionists 1 may also investigate and report any outbreaks or incidents of healthcare-associated infections. They play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for patients and healthcare workers.
