As a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality intravenous treatments, supporting patients through their healing journey, and making a meaningful impact in their lives. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced oncology nurses seeking a rewarding and collaborative work environment.
What You'll Do:
- Administer intravenous chemotherapy and other oncology treatments in a fast-paced, 65-chair outpatient infusion setting
- Monitor patient responses and manage treatment side effects with compassion and professionalism
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards, including chemo certification and transport protocols
- Utilize Cerner electronic medical records to document and coordinate patient care
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an oncology nursing role
- Valid BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Chemo certification and experience with Bone Marrow Transport procedures
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care abilities
- Experience in a high-volume infusion or outpatient setting
- Additional certifications such as OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- Knowledge of infusion therapy equipment and techniques
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
- 2+ years of specialized oncology nursing experience in a similar setting
- Campaign scheduled to start on 06/08/2026
- Flexibility to work during scheduled hours of 6:45 am to 7:00 pm, including potential weekend shifts
- Willingness to travel or be reimbursed for travel-related expenses when applicable
