The Team Lead, Quality Control - HQC is responsible for ensuring the quality of processes and products in support of all manufacturing areas within Integrated DNA Technologies, upkeeping instrumentation, and training associates as well as helping manage the shift.

This position reports to the Supervisor, is part of High Throughput Quality Control located in Coralville, IA, and is an on-site role. Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00pm - 12:00am

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Analyzes data and information for quality, consistency, and accuracy

• Use and service a variety of analytical and sample handling equipment

• Train associates to establish new skills and positive work behaviors

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• At least 12 months IDT lab experience and proficient in two HQC functions

• Strong understanding of HQC and proficiency with computer skills with the ability to accurately use SOPs and work instructions

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Lifting up to 50lbs: raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.

• Walking: moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

• An associate degree. Bachelor's degree preferred

• Experience and/or working knowledge of continuous improvement tools

• Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Work

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
