Registered Nurse NeJoin our team at University Health Services (UHS) as a Float Registered Nurse.University Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Registered Nurse to support both our Community Health and Primary Care Clinics. This unique role offers the opportunity to practice across a variety of settings, combining direct patient care with public health initiatives that support the health and well-being of UW-Madison students.In this dynamic position, you will provide services such as allergy injections, travel consultations, campus outreach, and health promotion activities, while also supporting primary care through triage, patient education, and clinical care coordination.Schedule:This is a full-time, on-site position located at University Health Services, 333 East Campus Mall, Madison, Wisconsin. The position works Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some Wednesdays beginning at 8:00 a.m.Key Responsibilities:Administer immunizations and travel vaccines in accordance with CDC and UHS protocolsConduct and interpret Tuberculosis (TB) screeningsAdminister allergy injections and monitor for adverse reactionsConduct travel health consultations and provide evidence-based recommendationsProvide telephone triage and nursing assessmentDeliver direct patient care and nursing interventionsDevelop and implement patient education plansSupport communicable disease response, case management, and prevention effortsCollaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient careParticipate in health promotion and outreach initiatives across the UW-Madison campusDepartment:University Health Services, Medical ServicesAt UHS our mission is to promote, protect, and improve student health and wellbeing.
