Job Title: Director of Advanced Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-Time FSLA: Salary/Exempt Division: Project Management Department: Project Management Reports to: Vice President Supervisory Duties: Yes Salary Range: $275,000 to $350,000 Job Description The Director of Advanced Manufacturing will serve as the strategic leader for Consigli's Advanced Manufacturing market with specific focus in the Southeast region to include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. The Director will be responsible for expanding geographic market presence, deepening client relationships, and driving long‑term success in a rapidly evolving sector. This role provides leadership across market development, client engagement, networking, team building, innovation, and strategy throughout the full project lifecycle—from marketing and pursuits through construction and delivery. The Advanced Manufacturing market includes high‑tech manufacturing products such as robotics, EV/Automotive, defense/aerospace, industrial, advanced materials and chemical, and food & beverage. This position will evaluate and prioritize submarkets to recommend where to focus on work across regions, with findings presented to executive leadership. The Director works collaboratively with Executive Leadership and Regional, Vertical, and Department Directors to ensure strong performance across all functions and assumes overall accountability for both results and culture within the Advanced Manufacturing market. Responsibilities / Essential Functions Lead the strategic growth and execution of Consigli's Advanced Manufacturing business across all regions. Develop and execute annual business and operations plans aligned with corporate objectives. Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert in Advanced Manufacturing construction, technologies, and regulations. Identify, pursue, and secure new Advanced Manufacturing opportunities, including renovations, expansions, and greenfield developments. Build and maintain strong C‑suite, board‑level, and institutional client relationships. Collaborate with architects, OPMs, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure successful planning and delivery. Represent Consigli at industry conferences, panels, and client‑facing engagements. Partner with Executive Leadership, Regional Directors, and Department Heads on strategy, performance, and growth initiatives. Strategize and leverage Arch Energy on value propositions for Advanced Manufacturing clients. Leverage Direct Buy capabilities to add value and better support projects. Provide region‑specific plans to grow Advanced Manufacturing, including a full annual SWOT analysis. Build, mentor, and expand Advanced Manufacturing teams across all regional geographies. Leverage Self Perform, Energy, and Technology capabilities to enhance value propositions. Monitor market trends, technology advancements, sustainability practices, and AI impacts on the built environment. Understand trends impacting Advanced Manufacturing and train teams to become subject matter experts. Support marketing, business development, and proposal efforts to strengthen the Advanced Manufacturing brand. Key Skills Advanced Manufacturing and advanced technology construction expertise. Demonstrated success leading growth initiatives across multiple geographies. Experience advising executive leadership and senior clients on complex projects. Public speaking, industry thought leadership, or published insights preferred.
