(Based on years of experience) Job Details: The Patient Services Representative (PSR I) represent the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The Phlebotomist I is responsible for providing coverage at multiple locations for multiple roles. Phlebotomist I must ensure that daily activities of the Patient Service Center/Mobile/Long Term Care/In-Office Phlebotomy are completed accurately and on time. PSR I will demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to a doctor's office, a patient service center or as business needs dictate. Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Job Responsibilities: Perform safe, accurate venipuncture and capillary blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric collections Conduct clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established procedures Prepare, label, verify, and process specimens for laboratory testing Verify patient demographics, initials, and obtain patient signature post-venipuncture to confirm correct labeling Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure comfort, trust, and confidence Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards Perform daily duties accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and confidentiality of patient information Job Requirements: Ability to provide high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting Demonstrated professional judgment and decision-making Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable) Willingness to follow all company policies, including: Dress code Employee Health & Safety Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles Flexible availability to support staffing needs Commitment to company policies, dress code, employee health & safety, and Everyday Excellence principles Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Work Experience: 1+ years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections. Minimum 1 year in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. 6 months+ years Customer service in a preferred retail or service environment. Keyboard/data entry experience
