Part Time Prep Cook

In addition, we offer: Generous PTO Plan 401(k) employer match Referral program Free on-site parking or commuting support Hotel discount at various properties Annual education allowance of up to $1,000 Residential housing discount after 1 year of continuous employment What You Will Do: Prepare and portion ingredients (chopping vegetables, cutting meats, making sauces, etc.) Label, date, and store food properly to ensure freshness and minimize waste Assist cooks and chefs with daily prep tasks and mise en place Keep prep stations clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly Assist with receiving and storing deliveries Support with closing and cleaning duties as needed May be asked to take out trash and recycling as needed May be asked to assist in sweeping and mopping the floors as needed What You Bring: Previous kitchen or prep experience required Basic understanding of food safety and knife handling Good time management and organizational skills Ability to work on your feet for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Positive attitude and willingness to learn Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one) Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed High School Diploma or GED Salary Range: $26-$32/hr About The Company: Onni For over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.
