Support Engineer - Configuration

Salary: $44,300 - 93,700 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 3 years of experience in customer support, technical support, IT services, or the healthcare industry.
• We require a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• We require experience with troubleshooting, help desk environments, or ticketing systems.
• We require the ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Kansas City, MO; Nashville, TN; or Orlando, FL.
• We require U.S. citizenship, that the role be performed on U.S. soil, and the ability to obtain the appropriate government security clearance, due to client contracts.
• We prefer basic IT and networking knowledge, experience with SQL or database queries, familiarity with CCL, HL7, or healthcare systems, exposure to backend troubleshooting or system maintenance, and technical certifications.

• We rely on this role to provide post-implementation and sustainment support for assigned Oracle Health products and serve as a primary customer contact by phone and electronic channels.
• We expect the role to gather and document customer requirements, configure approved change requests, and test and validate design additions or modifications while communicating progress and outcomes throughout the request lifecycle.
• We expect the role to investigate and resolve customer issues by analyzing front-end applications, gathering details, shadowing users, and testing workflows.
• We expect the role to perform backend troubleshooting, including capturing logs, querying database tables, updating fields, and cycling servers.
• We expect the role to troubleshoot routine configuration and technical issues, escalate complex or critical concerns to appropriate teams or experienced peers, and coordinate on product design, reliability, maintenance, or defect concerns.
• We expect the role to respond to technical and non-technical customer inquiries through phone, email, and messaging platforms, and provide translation support when needed.
• We expect the role to maintain service request, change request, product, and troubleshooting documentation, and contribute to configuration resources, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides.
• We expect the role to collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and peers; share knowledge; and support escalated customer situations.
• We expect the role to build knowledge of assigned Oracle product ecosystems and customer environments through training, feedback, and hands-on experience.
• We expect the role to use automation and AI-assisted tools to investigate common issues, identify root causes, and improve support efficiency and customer outcomes.
• We expect the role to identify improvements to change request workflows, support processes, documentation, and best practices.
• We expect the role to prioritize work, monitor assigned service performance metrics, meet established timelines and service-level expectations, and follow procedures for troubleshooting and escalation.
