Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Back Office Department. This role involves supporting our cardiologists in delivering high-quality cardiac care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cardiology and a strong commitment to patient health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists with patient examinations and specific procedures.
• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms.
• Perform EKGs and blood pressure checks.
• Accurately record patients’ medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is precise and up to date.
• Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient education and support, answering questions related to cardiac health and procedures.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage patient flow to maximize clinic efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Previous experience in a cardiology setting is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, especially related to cardiology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. (bi-lingual in Mandarin a plus)
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems. E-Clinical Works experience a plus.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering compassionate care.
• Mandarin speaking a plus!
