Signarama is hiring an experienced Lead Sign Installer for our multi-location team. This is a hands-on field leadership position for someone who takes pride in doing the job safely, efficiently, and correctly.

We aren't looking for someone who needs to be told what to do every step of the way. We're looking for someone who can take ownership of an installation, lead the crew, make good decisions in the field, and represent our company professionally at the customer's site.

Full-time, year-round position.

As our Lead Sign Installer, you'll:

• Lead commercial sign installation crews and take ownership of the jobsite

• Install channel letters, illuminated cabinets, building signs, freestanding signs, electronic message centers, architectural signage, and other commercial signage

• Operate cranes, bucket trucks, aerial lifts, trailers, and installation equipment

• Review jobs before leaving the shop and make sure the crew has the signs, hardware, tools, equipment, and information needed to complete the installation

• Read drawings, take measurements, determine mounting methods, and safely rig and handle sign components

• Troubleshoot installation challenges and make sound decisions in the field

• Coordinate with project managers, customers, contractors, electricians, and other trades

• Help train and develop less-experienced installers

• Maintain high standards for safety, workmanship, equipment care, and jobsite professionalism

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Clean driving record required, CDL strongly preferred.
Commercial sign installation experience is strongly preferred.

We're looking for someone with:

• Experience operating cranes, bucket trucks, aerial lifts, and similar equipment

• Strong mechanical and construction aptitude

• Experience with rigging and handling large or heavy components

• Ability to read drawings, measurements, and installation specifications

• Comfort working at heights and outdoors in Wisconsin conditions

• Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment

• Ability to lead an installation crew effectively

• A safety-first mindset

• Dependability, organization, and professionalism

If you have experience in crane operation, rigging, billboards, structural installation, steel erection, commercial construction, glazing, electrical signage, lighting, or similar field work — and you have a CDL, mechanical ability, and experience leading people — your skills may transfer very well to our industry.
