Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced care to critically ill patients with various medical conditions, including trauma and neuro-surgery.
• Administer and titrate intravenous medications and drips in a Level 1 trauma environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including hospitalists and intensivists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Interpret patient telemetry strips and respond to any dysrhythmias as necessary.
• Assist with the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing cardiovascular and neuro-surgery procedures.
• Comply with facility protocols and complete all required documentation using Cerner charting system.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience with neuro or cardiovascular expertise required.
• Current and valid RN license, with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory.
• Proficiency in interpreting telemetry readings without monitor technician support.
• Experience with titrating complex medication drips such as Propofol and vasopressors.
• Trauma Level 1 experience preferred but not required.
• BSN degree preferred; commitment to professional development expected.
