Position Title: Territory Sales Representative

This role is essential in driving sales and fostering relationships with homebuilders and contractors within the territory. The Territory Sales Representative will engage directly with clients, offering a range of wood products critical to residential construction. The position requires frequent visits to job sites to establish connections and understand project requirements. A successful candidate will have a solid foundation in construction and sales, with a proactive approach to generating new business. The role presents challenges, particularly the need for effective in-person communication and relationship-building, as remote interactions may not fully capture client needs. Territory Sales Rep Responsibilities:

• Engage with homebuilders and contractors to promote and sell wood products
• Visit job sites to assess project needs and build client relationships
• Provide estimates and read construction plans accurately
• Manage projects and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Develop a weekly list of leads and follow up with existing and inactive accounts
• Collaborate with sales assistants to streamline order processing
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape

Territory Sales Rep Requirements:

• Construction experience
• 2-3+ years of sales or marketing experience
• Understanding of wood products and ability to provide estimates
• Experience working on job sites or in trim work is advantageous
• A degree in sales or marketing is preferred
