About the Role

Shades of Life Home Health Care Services, LLC is actively hiring multiple CNAs, PCAs, and DSPs to join our growing homecare team in the Virginia Beach area.

We provide in-home care services that support clients with daily living needs while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. If you are a compassionate caregiver who takes pride in helping others, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

• Provide personal care assistance to clients in their homes
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal support as needed
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with the care team

What We’re Looking For

• Active CNA, PCA, DSP certification (as required by Virginia state law)
• At least 1 year of clinical or caregiving experience preferred
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently in client homes
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (or higher)
• Current negative TB test (PPD)
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Smartphone required for communication and documentation
• Ability to physically perform caregiving duties without restrictions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, transfer, bend, and stoop as needed
• Ability to travel to client residences
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members
