# Supervisor Maintenance-1st Shift-Sedalia PlantApplylocations: Sedalia Plant - Sedalia, Missouritime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R0466029**Job Details:**## Maintenance Supervisor – Job SummaryThis position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of plant maintenance operations, including leading and directing maintenance technicians in a food manufacturing environment. The role supports the Maintenance Manager in maintaining safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations while minimizing production downtime and ensuring preventative maintenance programs are effectively managed.### Key Responsibilities* Lead, direct, evaluate, and train a team of approximately 15 maintenance technicians* Foster a well-trained, motivated, and safety-focused maintenance staff* Coordinate maintenance policies and procedures in partnership with the Maintenance Manager* Manage preventative maintenance programs for plant equipment and facilities* Diagnose and assist with repairs involving: + Electrical systems + Mechanical systems + Pneumatic systems + Plumbing + PLC/electronic controls* Quickly assess maintenance issues to minimize production downtime* Promote and maintain a “Safety First” culture* Ensure compliance with: + SQF Quality Management policies + GMP practices + Company maintenance and safety procedures### RequirementsEducation* Associate degree or technical program certificate preferred **OR*** 5+ years of related experience and training **OR*** Equivalent combination of education and experience in a food manufacturing environmentExperience* Minimum 5 years of experience as a maintenance lead or supervisor with direct reports* Experience training, directing, and evaluating maintenance technicians requiredSkills & Knowledge* Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and plant operations* Basic PLC troubleshooting experience required* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills: + Word + Excel + Outlook* SAP experience is a plus* Strong verbal and written communication skills### Schedule* Shift: 1st Shift* Monday – Friday* 4:00 AM – 2:00 PM* Some weekend work required**Please attach resume when applying.**##**Relocation Assistance Eligible:**Yes**Work Shift:**1ST SHIFT (United States of America)**Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
