Senior Manager of Analytics

We are a multi-year winner of the Pittsburgh Business Times Best Places to Work award, and we are looking to add a Senior Manager of Analytics to our team.

This is a hybrid position based in Pittsburgh, PA. The Senior Manager of Analytics plays a key role in designing and delivering advanced analytics solutions for quantitative market research studies and translating complex results into actionable insights for clients.

What You Will Do:

• Design and execute analytical plans for quantitative market research projects, including customer satisfaction, product optimization, consumer segmentation, and other client needs
• Consult with internal stakeholders and clients on research methodology, questionnaire development, sampling plans, data weighting, and analysis techniques
• Select and apply appropriate analytics methods, including key driver analysis, multiple regression, logistic regression, relative importance models, cluster analysis, factor analysis, TURF, MaxDiff, and conjoint analysis
• Collaborate with research teams throughout project execution, refining analytical plans and methods as needed
• Interpret findings, identify implications, and help incorporate results into final client deliverables
• Communicate findings and recommendations through written reports, data visualizations, and presentations
• Stay current on analytical approaches and applications through research, industry involvement, conferences, and webinars
• Serve as an internal resource and thought leader by helping build the team's knowledge of data analytics
• Develop and deliver data analytics training for team members and clients as needed

Your Background

• Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field required
• Seven to ten years of experience applying data analytics in market research
• Proven experience applying a broad range of analytical methods to quantitative data sets
• Experience working for a market research supplier and/or corporate research user preferred
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including data visualization
• Ability to translate complex concepts, methodologies, and findings into clear, understandable language
• Ability to work independently while building strong internal and external relationships
• Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with SPSS and R preferred
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Pittsburgh, PA
• Ability to travel as needed, generally less than 10%
