Sr. Director, Global Account Management - Emerging Biopharma

IQVIA seeks a Senior Director of Global Account Management to lead sales strategy and build strategic partnerships with emerging biopharma clients worldwide. The role encompasses account planning, pipeline development, solution design, and cross-functional team coordination to drive revenue growth and deliver customer value.
Responsibilities
- Own sales strategy and execution for assigned emerging biopharma accounts with revenue growth accountability
- Identify, qualify, and advance new sales opportunities by aligning IQVIA capabilities to customer priorities
- Lead pipeline development, opportunity reviews, forecasting, and deal progression across regions
- Partner with delivery, data, and technology teams to shape executable, differentiated solutions
- Develop executive-level customer relationships and stakeholder engagement to broaden partnership scope
Requirements
- 12+ years in key account management, strategic sales, or commercial leadership in life sciences
- Proven track record selling complex, multi-service solutions to emerging biopharma clients
- Deep understanding of emerging biopharma business models, development priorities, and commercialization pathways
- Strong executive presence and ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated matrix leadership capability with ability to influence global teams
- Strong financial acumen including pricing, margin management, and forecasting
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and consultative selling skills
