Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this full-time, in-person role, you’ll collaborate with a skilled educational team supporting a caseload of approximately 20 students. The classroom environment includes diverse communication needs, offering rewarding chances to use your Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) experience and SLPA expertise to foster meaningful progress for each student.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active SLPA license/certification (state requirements must be met)
• Previous experience in a school setting or with adolescent populations
• Solid background working with high school-age students
• Demonstrated experience supporting AAC device users and implementing communication strategies
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Compassion, flexibility, and dedication to student success

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapy and communication support as designed by the supervising SLP
• Implement AAC strategies and assistive technology for students with complex needs
• Track student progress and keep accurate documentation
• Engage with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student communication goals
• Adapt interventions to meet a range of communication levels
• Participate in school meetings and professional development as needed
