Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 18 months.

• 6 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <80 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: OHA Healthcare - Qualivis Program and no current placement allowed at Program: OHA Healthcare - Qualivis Program.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: OHA Healthcare - Qualivis Program and no current placement allowed at Program: OHA Healthcare - Qualivis Program.

Required Skills/Experience: - Clinicians must have at least 18 months of permanent full-time staff experience in the specialty applying to prior to having ever traveled. - 18 months combined permanent experience in specialty applying for required; preferable to be within one location but can be combined. - 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience - travel experience will suffice.

Required Credentials: - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both assessments is required.

Special Requests: - All RTO to be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission. - Engagements are limited to 18 consecutive months.

Shift & Scheduling: - D/N rotating shift: 7pm-7:30am/7am-7:30pm. Shifts may be variable if needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital; facility will do their best to honor travelers preferred shift but reserve the right to rotate them if necessary. - Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: - Potential to float to units J1-2, J33 and ED to care for same patient population.

7 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required
