Step into a meaningful and specialized role supporting a high school student as a 1:1 Registered Nurse on Fridays, starting August 26th and running through June 15th. This part-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work onsite, where your clinical expertise will play a pivotal role in the student’s daily life. In this position, you’ll meet the student at school, ensuring attentive care and assistance throughout each Friday. Your Responsibilities Will Include Monitoring and managing the student's correct fluid intake. Assisting with restroom needs, including safe ambulation with a wheelchair (the student can toilet independently). Administering a noon medication and closely observing for any signs and symptoms of sodium imbalance related to Diabetes Insipidus. Key Qualifications And Experience Desired Current, active Registered Nurse certification/licensure. Proven school-based nursing experience. Reliable transportation necessary for prompt onsite attendance near Framingham, MA. Confident working independently and making clinical decisions. Comfortable supporting students with unique medical diagnoses and mobility needs. Availability to work every Friday, 8:30am to 3pm, with no schedule accommodations. This role offers a highly rewarding experience, supporting a student at the Perkins School for the Blind. Candidates will participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process.
