Chief Engineer — Holiday Inn Downtown Omaha Waterpark
Holiday Inn Downtown Omaha Waterpark is hiring a Chief Engineer to lead our maintenance team and keep the hotel, guest rooms, and waterpark in excellent working condition.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and schedule the maintenance team.
- Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and work orders.
- Troubleshoot and repair drywall, plumbing, and electrical issues.
- Maintain the waterpark and pool systems in accordance with applicable requirements.
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues affecting guests, staff, or hotel operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and monitor the quality of completed work.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required.
- Hotel maintenance experience required.
- Working knowledge of drywall, plumbing, and electrical repairs required.
- Experience supervising a maintenance team required.
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Availability to respond to urgent maintenance needs, including weekends when necessary.
