Automation and Motion Controls Specialist Full Time New Hampton, IA We are looking for individuals experienced in programming applications that require multi-axis motion control. This position works with industrial PCs, PLCs, servo controllers, drives, motors and sensors in an Industrial Automation environment. Machines and applications may involve robotics and/or machine vision. The person accepting this full-time position will be resourceful, independent, goal‑driven, and most importantly, a team player. Qualifications Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics Strong working knowledge of automation systems, robotics, and/or motion control systems Ability to communicate effectively in writing Experience with electronic test equipment such as V/O multimeter, oscilloscope, ampmeters, calibrators, micrometers, calipers, and geometric tolerance for integrated circuit connector products Understanding of the safe and practical application of single‑ and multi‑phase electrical power systems; general PLC abilities; Servo Systems; Stepper Motor Systems; and proximity, optical, Hall Effect sensors This position plays a critical role in the growth of Precision.
